Some of them included the 7-Minute Spring by the park gazebo, which was originally drilled and had a pump created to deliver water every seven minutes. Manitou Springs also beckons people to enjoy the fresh mountain air. You can do this by hiking one of many trails or you can opt to ride the cog train up to Pikes Peak and take in some of the sights on the way. Near some of the neighborhoods, you’ll also find Red Rock Canyon Open Space, offering dozens of trails for hikers and bikers.
